When a leading Omani investment house set out to create a new accounting and advisory firm, they needed a brand name and tagline that reflected loyalty, reliability, and accuracy while still feeling modern and futuristic. Through a mix of symbolism, creative word construction, and careful screening, we developed Fintler, a unique, suggestive name that captures the brand’s promise of trusted, highly personalized financial services. Full Case Study
The Problem
The client, a multi-business investment house with ventures across food and beverage, service businesses, and accounting, wanted to establish a dedicated accounting and advisory firm. Their goal was to deliver highly tailored services, both through a physical office and virtual (cloud-based) platforms, while building a reputation around loyalty, reliability, and accuracy. The challenge was to find a brand name and tagline that aligned with their positioning, sounded futuristic, and was available for both trademark registration in Oman and domain acquisition.
The Strategy
Generally, when naming a brand, it’s not advisable to pack every single value and meaning directly into the name. Those are better communicated through the brand’s messaging and personality. However, in this case, we had a trick up our sleeves. We leaned into symbolism: a type of suggestive brand naming inspired by concepts that reflected the client’s values, while keeping the names futuristic and authentic enough to secure trademarks and digital optimization. This strategy balanced creativity with practicality, giving the brand a flexible identity that grows with them.
Our approach began with in-depth discussions with the client to understand their story and long-term vision. From there, we researched the market, competitors, and audience to identify naming directions that would feel distinctive and personalized. While we explored a variety of styles, including translated names and names rooted in Omani culture, the strongest path proved to be symbolism, which was validated during the screening phase.
For the tagline, we took a descriptive approach. Since this was a new brand, the tagline needed to reinforce the name and positioning while highlighting the promise of highly personalized services.
Throughout the process, we collaborated closely with the client, sharing our insights so they fully understood the reasoning behind each decision and how every shortlisted name fit their brand.

The Solution / Result
The selected brand name, Fintler, is a blend of finance and butler. The symbolism was intentional: just as a butler provides loyal, efficient, and personalized services, Fintler represents a brand committed to personalized support and reliability in financial management. While “Butler” might have worked as a brand name, the coined form ensured uniqueness, trademark protection, and digital optimization, making it a strong standalone identity.
For the tagline, we used “Your personalized financial butler.” It was crafted with flexibility in mind, allowing “personalized” to be swapped in marketing materials to suit different contexts. For example: “Your virtual financial butler” or “Your dedicated financial butler.” This reinforces the positioning and brand promise.
Since launch, Fintler has grown quickly and was recognized by F6s as one of Muscat’s leading cloud bookkeeping and accounting firms for SMEs within just two years. Of course, their success has been fueled by a range of factors, including their amazing accounting services, and the strong brand identity design created by our sister agency, Feel x Human. But the foundation began with a clear and memorable identity that captured their mission from day one.
Fun Fact: We only did one round of naming, and Fintler was the very first name on the list. As much as we like to take credit for this, the client’s collaboration, clarity about their challenges, and openness to our process made this one of the smoothest projects we’ve ever worked on.
